Glocomms is partnering with a Fortune 500 innovation company who is a Globally secured Enterprise Solutions operation. Through their widely known international Security technologies, this leading enterprise company makes travel and trade safer and more efficient. My client is looking for a Senior Software Engineering Manager who wants to be a part of a company that pushes the boundaries of possibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Staff management & development, supervising a team of approximately 15-20 people.
- Coordinate release plan and road map development across multiple products and projects.
- Manage software development processes using GitHub, Atlassian Jira and Confluence, Sonar Cloud.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant fields
- Hands-on experience with Java and/or C++
- Strong knowledge of ITS and V2X
- 3+ years experience in managing a team
Nice to have:
- Experience developing real-time, embedded software.
- Experience with automation or robotics principles, possibly ROS and ROS2.
- Basic familiarity with the physics of a moving vehicle, especially as relates to lateral control and steering.
