Customer Details

Our customer is one of France and Europe's biggest groups, they have close to 100,000 staff mostly in Europe split across France, UK, Germany, Italy and Portugal with other teams split across North America and Asia.
Given an increase in project demand they are looking to reinforce their team by adding a Systems and Security Administrator to reduce the workload on the current team.
The customer offers a fantastic opportunity for a long-term engagement and the chance to not only work on the most up to date technologies but the chance to be one of the first on the market to touch and integrate new releases!

Job Details

Systems and Security Administrator

Primary Responsibilities : Maintenance and improvement of the current infrastructure, performing administrative tasks on components of Splunk Infrastructure (Installation, Configuration, Updates and updating documentation), responding to user needs and incidents, conducting POCs as part of their continuous improvement plans.
Tech Stack : Splunk (version 8.0 and on wards) for data integration, RedHat Linux, Logstash, Cisco Networks.
Working alongside the Architecture and Engineering teams, globally the team is close to 30 people but you will be collaborating with 5-10 other Administrators on a daily basis.
Given the international nature of the business, a working level of English is required but day to day the colleagues are French speakers.
Great opportunity for extensions and different projects as they are constantly looking to make improvements and upgrades.
No specific certificates are required but any relevant Splunk, Linux or Cyber Security certifications will certainly support your application.
