- Our customer is the IT Group of one of Europe's biggest Insurance Groups, their business focus over the next 3 years is to centralise their Systems with a huge emphasise on securing their Systems.
- Due to a lack of internal resources, the customer is looking for an external storage engineer to join their business on a long-term assignment.
- The customer offers a great opportunity for a long-term engagement, across their Microsoft and Active Directory division they have teams handling various different projects that you will be able to support in the future.

Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 and Active Directory Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of our organisation's Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth technical expertise in Microsoft 365 applications, services, and Active Directory, along with a strong understanding of IT security and best practices. This role requires the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions that enhance collaboration, productivity, and security.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage the organisation's Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, and other related services.
- Architect and maintain the Active Directory infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the Microsoft 365 and Active Directory domains.
- Develop and implement strategies for identity and access management, including single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and integration with other authentication systems.
- Lead migration projects from on-premises systems to Microsoft 365, including data migration and user adoption strategies.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, Microsoft 365 updates, and security best practices to ensure the organisation's environment remains secure and compliant.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
- Collaborate with IT security teams to implement and maintain security policies, data protection, and compliance measures within the Microsoft 365 environment.
