Role: Senior Software Engineer
Location: New York - Hybrid on-site 3 days a week in a WeWork
Salary: Up to $200k + Equity
On behalf of an innovative startup client, we're seeking an accomplished Senior Backend Engineer for a dynamic role in New York. This hybrid position will have you collaborate with the team at their co-working space 3 times weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
You're a proficient coder who's in their element with Python 3 and have a substantial background working with key-value databases.
You're a deliverer at heart, focusing on output without compromising the process.
You're eager to contribute to unprejudiced technical designs, prioritizing meticulousness above personal preferences.
You're excited about office collaborations and look forward to spending at least three days a week in a vibrant work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience scaling a technology product that has reached a user base in the millions is a significant plus.
You may also have experience with AWS, particularly DynamoDB.
Experience building or contributing to a GraphQL server will give you an edge, as will hands-on
DevOps experience. Experience with on-call engineering rotation is advantageous, and an interest in AI tools is welcomed.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing and developing core infrastructure as the platform evolves, aiming towards Series A and beyond. As the network grows to empower millions of users, you will work in tandem with the CPO and lead engineer to enhance the existing product and design new systems to support expanded functionalities.
