A leading Cyber Security company, ranked as a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant is seeking a Sales Engineer to join its DACH presales tam. The role focuses on bridging the gap between the sales team and their pre-sales customers. As the Sales Engineer, you will take ownership of the technical relationship alongside the pre sales customers to help effectively close business by proactively managing and delivering technical information to the customers through different means of communication.
Responsibilities:
Build and develop relationships with customers, prospects, and partners on the technical and executive side
Bridge the gap between the sales team and their pre-sales customers
Have a clear and sharp analysis of the technical objectives for the implementation of the product
Advise the customer on the best ways to use the product
Work in close collaboration with the Sales and channel team during the whole sales cycle
Ensure customer's satisfaction and success
Manage the regional account customer base, in regards to their technical requirements
Plan, control and execute customer product pilots
Skills and experience required:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in the one of the following areas; network security, data security, web application development, SecDevOps
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Ability to adapt to technical and executive audience
Ability to understand the customer's issues and to offer them the relevant solutions
Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, Load balancers, proxies, and firewalls
Understanding in database's; Oracle, Sybase, DB2, MS SQL
Understanding in application development; JSP, .NET, ASP, PHP
Understanding of cloud infrastructures; GCP, AWS, Azure
Exposure to sale framework methodologies is preferred
Understanding of advanced internet route selection protocol is preferred
Ability to travel and meet clients in designated regions
Fluent in German
