Sales Director DACH (First Person on the Ground)
An AI-as-a-Service software vendor in hypergrowth is seeking a First Person on the Ground for Germany and the DACH region. This pre-IPO company just raised 16 million in its series A funding. Most recently, they have been awarded the Outstanding Innovation Company according to the Global Business Excellence Awards. Frost & Sullivan have also awarded them for their Autonomous Manufacturing Technology and listed them as an Innovative Leader.
This role will allow you to build the market in DACH region from scratch.
Responsibilities:
- Build and develop relationships with targeted clients
- Develop a sales strategy and plan within the region
- Evangelize the solution through the region, working in close collaboration with the international presales, marketing, sales team
- Adopt a land and expand approach with targeted accounts
- Recruiting new team members
- Achieve/overachieve your quotas quarter by quarter
Skills and experience required:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Enterprise Field Sales
- Fluent in German and English
- Ability to work with autonomy, self-starter mentality
- Experience selling Industrial Software/AI solutions into the Manufacturing Vertical
- Demonstrable track-record of achieving sales goals
- New business development mentality
- Experience building a market from scratch
- Experience managing sales teams
- Travel availability up to 50%
