Title: Presales Engineer IIoT (m/w/d) permanent
Compensation: 60.000€ - 90.000€ + bonus variable
Location: Remote (Germany)
Territory: DACH
I am currently working on a very exciting position as a Presales Engineer for a very interesting, privately-held Industry 4.0 company, with offices in N. America, Europe, the UK, and Japan. I am working for an international company that provides an embedded software for the automotive and aerospace & defense industries. Even though it is a smaller-sized company, it already works with Fortune 500 manufacturers and top Tier 1 OEMs like Daimler-Benz and Aerospace companies like Lockheed Martin.
Their team of 80 people are looking to expand by one more in this new role, to design, implement, and support the client with their questions and concerns.
Responsibilities:
- Consulting with the client to understand their manufacturing processes
- Designing and documenting solutions to solve the client's issues
- Supporting the sales team for pitches and commercial offers
- Creating project demos
- Implementing pilot and proof-of-concept systems onsite
- Be the point of contact and support the client throughout the sales process
- Answering RFIs and RFPs
- Travel availability up to 60%
Skills and experience required:
- Bachelor's degree
- Fluent in German
- Similar previous experience
- Proficient in C#, C++, Java, & Python programming languages
- Proficient in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Vue web design and dev
- Experience working on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Proactive and self-starter
