Customer Details

My customer is one of the World's biggest Sporting Groups, they own close to 15 major sports brands mostly in the Snow Sport Industry and cover the globe with a presence in Europe, APAC and the America's.
Due to an excess of project workload they are looking to bring in an expert engineer to support them with their new implementations to harden their Security on their M365 on a long-term engagement.
The customer offers a fantastic opportunity to work fully remotely and working with some of the most up to date and cutting edge technologies on the market.
Glocomms support this customer in a number of areas of their business including their IT teams, Procurement and Supply functions and have a great relationship with their European business.

Job Details

Microsoft Security Engineer

Primary responsibilities will include, challenging their way of thinking and propose solutions to improve the functionality of their system's. They need someone with both a technical and functional mindset to be able to technically support the team with design and implementations. But also someone that can help define and revise the project roadmap and someone who is a good communicator.
Tech Stack : M365, Microsoft Defender, MS Systems, Windows Server, Azure
The team has close to 10 engineers working in a few different technical areas but all based around Cloud and Infrastructure Security.
The main focus is to work on their implementation of Microsoft Defender and Endpoint Management.
The team is very multicultural, with their team being split across Europe with all the workers working remotely, but English is the working language.
Overall they have over 10,000 users globally split between their different brands and different locations. The customer is looking for someone that has worked in a similar environment.
