Profile: This is an incredible opportunity to work for a Big Player in the financial markets and hedge fund space. Professional would be joining a growing elite security team at a top-tier high frequency trading firm based out of NYC. In this position, you will be working alongside some of the industry's most elite professionals in a high-energy setting, while spearheading the firm's detection and response program, leading their SOC team in protecting valuable data from internal and external threats.

Professional will be responsible for:
- Running the firm's security detection and response program
- Developing tools to automate detection system and process to confront future vulnerabilities
- Formulating and maintaining data loss prevention rules and playbook
- Hunting and detecting malicious/anomalous activity within their networks and systems
Qualifications needed:
- 7+ years of experience in cyber security within SOC and vulnerability management, with experience managing a team of engineers.
- High level of emotional intelligence, with the ability to empathize and reassure in sensitive situations, through leading by example.
- A strong operational understanding of Python and how to script. You will have to pass a technical interview and assessment to work within this role.
- Experience with Linux and Windows Forensics
- BS in Computer Science (or equivalent)
