I'm currently working with a high frequency trading firm to bring on an IR engineer to their security team! My client is a company built by coders and they are at the forefront of innovation and technology within their respective space. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an amazing group of individuals all while impacting their global cyber security systems!
This role has a focus on detection and response as a typical day would include creating alerts and detecting and tracking known vulnerabilities. You would also be responsible for architecting and running their detection and response program to protect their data and IP from threats.
This is a hybrid opportunity either in Chicago, NYC or Austin, TX. Comp for the role ranges from 150K - 250K Base & TC ranges from 300K -420K.
Other Responsibilites/Qualifications Include:
- Hunting for, detecting, and respond to malicious activity and anomalous events on HRT's devices and network.
- Developing tools to automate detections to automatically find and address future vulnerabilities.
- Constructing pipelines for data security and regularly clean and analyze the data for signs of vulnerability and compromise.
- Strong Python and Linux experience
