One of the big, new in the SaaS freight forwarding industry, a highly successful scale-up, is now looking to establish a greater market presence across Spain and Europe. They are seeking an experienced Sales Person with experience doing complex sales to join its big office in Barcelona (with the option of working remote). This person will be responsible of driving forward business opportunities, as well as building and developing relationships with new customers across the EU and possible NA.
Responsibilities:
- The role consists mainly of new logo acquisition - giving you the chance to plant a seed and help establish a company in the region that has shown no signs of slowing down.
- You will develop a sales strategy in the assigned territory with a prospect list
- Work with and support Channel Partners to create net new logo opportunities in prospects and upgrade/expansion opportunities in customer accounts.
- Develop a regional sales plan to achieve/overachieve your quotas quarter by quarter
- Travel around the world on exciting business trips, solving client problems along the way
Skills and experience required:
- 4+ years of experience in complex, Freight forwarding sales - Air and Ocean.
- Experience selling in multiple verticals
- Utilise a defined Sales Methodology for business needs/business understanding
- Strong executive presence
- Forecasting commitments and forecasting accuracy
- Demonstrable track-record of achieving sales goals. Strong reputation on exceeding sales quota's
- Hunter/New business development mentality
- Experience selling to {C-level)
- English Fluent + One European Language
