Title: Director of Business Development: IoT Healthcare (m/w/d)

My client is a steadily growing, post-IPO IoT Telecommunications company, that is ranked as a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant in Managed IoT Connectivity Services. They are seeking a Director of Business Development in IoT Healthcare to join its Dutch team, who will be responsible for all of EMEA. In this role, you will be responsible for developing key account plans, managing a team of sales professionals, and building business cases to present them to the top decision makers in a company.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a regional sales plan
- Work in cohesion with the marketing, sales engineering teams
- Build and develop relationships with targeted clients
- Identify new logo and channel opportunities
- Develop competitive selling strategies
- Establish C-level contacts on targeted accounts
- Maintain and communicate the monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales forecast
- Own and drive the business line, especially among the key stakeholders
- Develop a sales strategy and plan within the region
- Evangelise the solution through the region, working in close collaboration with the international presales, marketing, sales team
- Represent the company at trade shows and marketing events
Skills and experience required:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Business Development
- Experience selling IoT solutions, preferably in healthcare
- Fluent in English (plus one other European language)
- Experience selling IoT software solutions in the Medical Vertical
- Demonstrable track-record of achieving sales goals
- New business development mentality
- Good knowledge of Routers, Gateways, Modular /Hardware Industry pertaining to Telco
