Glocomms is currently leading a search for an Account Executive at one of the leaders in the Digital Freight Forwarding industry. It is a company from the United States, already with partnerships with many of the world's leading brands, now looking to expand massively across Europe.
They are looking for an Account Executive who will be based in the Netherlands. In the role, you would be particularly focused on the relationship between the company and its clients. The Account Executive will ensure the client realises the value and returns on their investments, and will serve as the key communication link in a rapidly changing business environment.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to understand their supply chain needs
- Be able to create value driven solutions, through a full order to cash cycle
- Demonstrate the value of the company through remote and in-person meetings
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients
- Identify opportunities for account growth while retaining and expanding revenue
Requirements:
- 3+ years in sales for freight forwarding or logistics with years of closing experience
- Knowledge of freight forwarding principles
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player, who also enjoy being competitive.
- Curiosity to learn a new way of operating in an old industry
- Business fluency in German and good English
